Hyundai Motor Company will become an official automotive partner of the UEFA Champions League under a multi-year agreement beginning with the 2026/27 season, the company said in a newsroom announcement dated Sept. 7, 2026.

Hyundai described the partnership as an opportunity to align its brand with one of European club football’s leading competitions. The company said the tournament’s high standards reflect the level of performance it seeks to achieve in the automotive industry.

The IONIQ 3 will be the first Hyundai model associated with the partnership. Designed in Europe for European customers, the vehicle is also the first of five major models Hyundai plans to launch in Europe during the 2026/27 season.
