Samsung Electronics is showcasing a new lineup of 24-inch front-load washing machines featuring a flatter exterior design at Samsung Connect during IFA 2026 in Berlin. The development-stage models are on display from Sept. 2-6 ahead of an official launch, although commercial availability and final specifications have not been announced.

The updated washers extend Samsung’s flat design, previously used on select premium appliances, to a broader range of laundry products. The company said the streamlined front surface is intended to blend more easily with modern interiors, while a larger door and wider opening angle are designed to make loading and unloading more convenient.

The lineup also includes Samsung’s Bubble Shot technology, which sprays water throughout the drum and is intended to shorten wash cycles while maintaining cleaning performance. Ecobubble technology is designed to dissolve detergent more quickly and distribute it evenly, helping support effective washing at lower temperatures and potentially reduce energy use.

Samsung Vice President Hyoung Min Park said the company aims to offer a consistent design experience that combines appearance with usability. The company noted that its performance and energy claims are based on internal testing and may vary according to laundry types, settings and usage conditions.
