A 23-year-old Oxenford man has been charged following an alleged armed robbery at a business in Holland Park, Brisbane, on Thursday, August 27.

Queensland Police said officers received reports at about 10:45 a.m. of a man wearing a pink tracksuit and white balaclava entering a business on Logan Road armed with a knife. The man allegedly threatened staff and stole prescription medication and money before fleeing.

Officers from the Upper Mount Gravatt Criminal Investigation Branch arrested the man at a nearby Logan Road address at about 2:40 p.m. He was charged with one count of armed robbery, as well as charges relating to dangerous drugs, breaching a domestic violence order and possessing pipe utensils.

The man appeared in Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 28. Police cited reference number QP2601671237 and asked anyone with information to contact Policelink or Crime Stoppers.
