Samsung has highlighted the Galaxy Z Flip8’s upgraded FlexWindow cover display in a new Samsung Newsroom video, showcasing how users can perform everyday tasks without unfolding the foldable smartphone. The video was published Aug. 27, 2026. According to Samsung, the Galaxy Z Flip8 is the thinnest and lightest model in the Galaxy Z Flip series. Its compact design is intended to make the device easier to carry and use with one hand. The FlexWindow allows users to take photos, open frequently used applications and access what Samsung describes as agentic artificial intelligence features while the phone remains closed.
