UNITED24 Nears $4 Billion Mark

Nearly $4 billion has been raised for Ukraine through the UNITED24 fundraising platform since its launch in 2022, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in an address to participants at the platform’s summit. He said about $3.7 billion had been directed toward defense-related needs, including drones, unmanned ground vehicles and other technologies intended to help save lives.

Zelenskyy said UNITED24 now connects donors from 145 countries, including individuals, businesses, humanitarian organizations and schools. He credited the platform’s ambassadors and millions of donors with sustaining international support for Ukraine and helping build connections beyond governments’ official positions.

The president also highlighted humanitarian projects funded through UNITED24, including reconstruction, medical equipment, ambulances, infant incubators, education support, demining and equipment to strengthen communities’ energy resilience. He noted that the UNITED24 mobile application had reached its first anniversary and enables donors to support specific Ukrainian military units.

Zelenskyy urged the platform to continue developing fundraising campaigns and international partnerships. He described support for Ukraine as part of a broader effort to protect human life, national independence and security, and thanked donors and ambassadors for their contributions.
