A 33-year-old motorcyclist suffered life-threatening injuries after a crash involving a motorcycle and car in Cranbrook, Townsville, on August 20, Queensland Police said. The man was taken to Townsville University Hospital. Police said the crash occurred at about 10 a.m. at the intersection of Ross River Road and Alice Street. Initial investigations indicate a Kawasaki Ninja 300 motorcycle collided with a Toyota Camry. The motorcycle rider, from Currajong, was seriously injured. The Toyota’s driver, a 46-year-old Cranbrook man, was not physically injured.
