Two people were taken to Townsville University Hospital after a motorbike and bicycle collided at Shaw in northern Queensland on August 17, Queensland Police said. Both riders were reported to be in stable condition. The crash occurred about 8:50 a.m. at the intersection of Shaw Road and the Bruce Highway. The highway’s inbound lanes were temporarily reduced to one lane before reopening. Police are investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to come forward.
