A 38-year-old Queensland Police Service liaison officer from the North Coast Region has been suspended after being charged with unlawful stalking and two counts of dangerous operation of a motor vehicle.

Queensland Police said the alleged offences occurred while the officer was off duty. The officer is scheduled to appear in Caboolture Magistrates Court on August 18, 2026.

Police said the suspension reflects the service’s commitment to transparency and accountability when members face serious allegations of misconduct. The charges have not been proven, and the allegations remain before the court.
