Three people have been charged following an alleged break-in at a residence in Kenmore, Brisbane, in the early hours of July 31, Queensland Police said. No injuries were reported in the police release. Investigators allege five people forced entry into a Skye Street home at about 3:43 a.m. The group was reportedly armed with baseball bats, while one person allegedly carried a firearm. All five fled the scene before police arrested two men and a woman nearby and recovered a replica firearm. A 26-year-old Windaroo man faces 18 charges, including entering a dwelling and committing an offence, drug-related offences, possessing utensils and receiving tainted property. An 18-year-old Cannon Hill man and a 21-year-old Deagon woman have each been charged with entering a dwelling and committing an offence. The Windaroo man is due to appear in Brisbane Magistrates Court on August 1, while the other two defendants are scheduled to appear on August 24 and August 28.
