Queensland police have charged a 59-year-old Mareeba man after allegedly finding methylamphetamine, cocaine, cannabis and $5,000 in cash during a search of a Fraser Street property.

Officers from the Tablelands Criminal Investigation Branch and Tablelands Property Crime Unit executed the search warrant on July 26. Police allege cocaine and methylamphetamine were concealed inside two socks in the backyard.

The man faces multiple drug-related charges, including possessing dangerous drugs, possessing drug utensils and possessing property suspected of being proceeds of an offence. He was remanded in custody and is due to appear in Mareeba Magistrates Court on September 28.
