Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy warned that Russia may be preparing a new large-scale missile attack, urging residents to remain alert and follow air raid warnings. The warning was issued in a presidential address published July 24, 2026.

Zelenskyy said Ukrainian intelligence and international partners had reported that Russian forces had readied missiles for a possible strike. He said the attack could occur within 48 hours, while noting that the information remained preliminary.

The presidential office also reported that Ihor Zhovkva, deputy head of Ukraine’s Office of the President, met with Philippine Undersecretary of National Defense Salvador Mison in Kyiv. The officials discussed defense cooperation and strengthening the countries’ partnership in the Indo-Pacific region.
