Queensland police have charged two teenagers and are appealing for dash-cam footage after a man was allegedly seriously assaulted in Kelvin Grove on July 24. A 17-year-old boy from Kelvin Grove has been charged with grievous bodily harm, armed robbery and assault occasioning bodily harm. Police said he was refused bail and is due to appear in Brisbane Children’s Court on July 27. A 16-year-old Alderley boy has been dealt with under the Youth Justice Act over the same alleged offences. Another 17-year-old boy who was initially arrested has been released without charge. Detectives are seeking footage from vehicles travelling on Victoria Park Road, Kelvin Grove, between 9:30 p.m. and 10:30 p.m., and Barter Avenue, Holland Park West, between 11:30 p.m. and 11:50 p.m. Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 3015 2444, quoting Operation Yankee Axiom or reference QP2601436962.
