A 40-year-old man has died following an altercation at an event in Glenwood, Queensland, with another man in custody as police investigate the circumstances. Queensland Police said officers were called to a property on Leggets Lane at about 2:30 a.m. on July 25 after reports that a Kallangur man had fallen during an altercation. He sustained critical injuries and died at the scene a short time later. A 33-year-old Burpengary man is under police guard at Gympie Hospital. No charges have been announced, and investigations remain ongoing. Detectives from the Maryborough Criminal Investigation Branch are appealing for witnesses and anyone with vision of the incident to come forward.
