Samsung Electronics outlined its vision for a connected digital health ecosystem at Galaxy Unpacked July 2026 in London, emphasizing preventive care, personalized support and partnerships across the healthcare sector. The company said its strategy aims to help bridge the gap between health monitoring and sustained, everyday action.

During a Samsung Health Forum panel titled “Rewriting the Rules of Preventive Health,” executives and partners discussed how technology could encourage healthier behavior. Samsung Food executive Kartik Poria described plans to connect nutrition insights, meal logging and recipe recommendations, while iFIT CEO Kevin Duffy highlighted the integration of guided fitness programs with Samsung Health and Galaxy Watch activity data.

The company also emphasized clinical validation and privacy. Rohit Ail of the Samsung R&D Institute UK cited collaborations with hospitals and health organizations in Europe, including research into cardiovascular risk and the long-term effects of cancer treatment. He said Samsung uses device security through Knox, GDPR-compliant infrastructure and a framework aligned with the European Health Data Space, while its decentralized clinical trial system is designed to keep participant identities under healthcare organizations’ control.

Samsung researchers are also developing artificial intelligence models designed to interpret biosignals such as electrocardiogram, accelerometer and photoplethysmography data collected through wearable devices. The company said these models could support more continuous and individualized health insights. Samsung executives said the broader Connected Care strategy combines behavior support, clinical evidence and personalized AI to promote earlier intervention while giving users greater control over their data.
