NVIDIA and the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) have launched a joint artificial intelligence research laboratory in Seoul to accelerate AI innovation in South Korea. The facility, based at KAIST’s Kim Jaechul Graduate School of AI, will focus on advancing agentic AI—systems designed to perform tasks and make decisions with limited human intervention. The partnership is intended to support research and development in emerging AI technologies. NVIDIA and KAIST announced the initiative on July 23, 2026.
