Police have charged four women in connection with a robbery and assault at a licensed venue in Helensvale, Queensland, on the evening of July 15, according to the Queensland Police Service (QPS). The incident, which left a 41-year-old staff member with facial injuries, occurred around 7:35 PM at a business on Sir John Overall Drive.

The victim was allegedly assaulted by the group, who then stole her mobile phone before fleeing the scene. Authorities later apprehended the suspects at the Helensvale train station. A 19-year-old woman from Tweed Heads faces charges of contravening and obstructing a police officer, while three others, aged 19, 20, and 22, from Upper Coomera, Coomera, and Redbank Plains respectively, have been charged with robbery in company.

The accused are scheduled to appear in Southport Magistrates Court in early August. Meanwhile, police continue their search for a fifth individual believed to be involved in the incident. The Queensland Police urge anyone with information to come forward and assist by contacting Policelink or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
