In a significant diplomatic engagement, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Denmark’s Minister of Defense Jeppe Bruus on June 29, 2026. This marks Minister Bruus’s inaugural visit to Ukraine since his appointment. The discussions primarily revolved around the impending Drone Deal and the bolstering of European anti-ballistic capabilities.

During the meeting, President Zelenskyy expressed his gratitude towards Denmark for its consistent support and financial assistance amidst ongoing conflicts. The partnership has reportedly fostered successful cooperation models, notably the Danish model, which both nations are keen to expand. Additionally, Zelenskyy highlighted the support from Denmark in backing the Czech initiative to supply ammunition.
