Police in Maroochydore are urgently seeking information after a wounding incident late last night, June 11, involving a 20-year-old man from Buderim. The incident occurred around 10:20 PM on Duporth Avenue where the young man was reportedly stabbed. He was promptly taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital, thankfully with injuries deemed non-life-threatening. Despite immediate efforts, law enforcement was unable to apprehend the assailant, who is believed to be a woman. Authorities are now appealing to the public for any information, particularly dashcam footage that might have captured the area between 10:10 PM and 10:40 PM.
