TOOWOOMBA, June 4, 2026 – A 17-year-old from Toowoomba has been charged with multiple offenses following a violent altercation that took place in the city yesterday. The incident, which occurred on Margaret Street around 1:55 pm, involved the teenager allegedly attacking a 19-year-old man with a knife. The victim was promptly taken to Toowoomba Hospital, where he was treated for minor injuries. Police apprehended the suspect early this morning at approximately 9:50 am at a residence in Rockville. Authorities have levied several charges against the young male, including wounding, affray, going armed to cause fear, threatening violence, common assault, possession of a knife in a public place, contravening a police direction, and obstructing a police officer. He is scheduled to appear before the Toowoomba Children’s Court this Friday.
