Zelenskyy’s Firm Stand on Regional Security

In a recent address, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine emphasized the critical necessity for heightened security awareness amid ongoing threats and potential massive strikes highlighted by intelligence reports. Amidst these threats, Ukraine’s air defense and combat readiness continue to showcase high efficacy, maintaining an interception rate of 90-93% against drone attacks.

Zelenskyy praised the Ukrainian military’s strategic operations against Russian targets, which have notably impacted fuel supplies in Crimea and damaged key military assets in the Rostov region and Krasnodar Krai. These operations are part of Ukraine’s broader response to Russian aggression, which, according to Zelenskyy, Russia could end by choosing peace but has instead opted to prolong.
