A 14-year-old boy sustained life-threatening injuries after a motorcycle and a Toyota Hiace collided in Bloomsbury, Queensland, on May 23. He was airlifted to Townsville Hospital in critical condition.

The Forensic Crash Unit said the crash occurred at about 2:30 p.m. on Lindeman Drive, where the KTM motorcycle and white Toyota were travelling in opposite directions.

The 42-year-old Bloomsbury woman driving the Toyota was not physically injured. Investigations remain ongoing.
