Zelenskyy Welcomes Three Ambassadors

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy accepted the letters of credence from the newly appointed non-resident ambassadors of Panama, Mongolia and Peru during meetings focused on strengthening diplomatic, trade and economic ties.

Discussions with Panama’s Ambassador Jorge Ricardo Silen Santacoloma covered agricultural technology and expanded trade cooperation, including Panama’s role as a logistics hub for Latin America. Zelenskyy thanked Panama for condemning Russia’s aggression against Ukraine and for joining the International Coalition for the Return of Ukrainian Children. He also said Ukraine expected Panama to open an embassy in Kyiv, following the establishment of Ukraine’s embassy in Panama.

During talks with Mongolia’s Ambassador Navaan-Yundengiin Oyundari, Zelenskyy expressed appreciation for Mongolia’s humanitarian assistance. The sides discussed cooperation in trade, agriculture and mining, as well as student exchange programs and stronger interparliamentary ties. Zelenskyy also encouraged Mongolia to consider opening an embassy in Ukraine.

Zelenskyy thanked Peru’s Ambassador Gloria Lissette Nalvarte Simoni de Isasi for Peru’s consistent support for Ukraine in international organizations. The meeting addressed efforts to restore high-level communication between the two countries and the possibility of reopening Peru’s embassy in Ukraine.
