Samsung is highlighting its Samsung Care+ protection service as a travel safeguard for Galaxy device users during the summer holiday season. In a May 20, 2026, Samsung Newsroom release, the company said claims submitted in July and August 2025 were 30% higher than the annual average, citing increased risks of accidental damage while traveling.

The service provides coverage at home and abroad through Samsung-authorized service centers in major destinations, including London, Seoul, Los Angeles and Barcelona, according to the company. Samsung said customers should contact local support centers in advance because service availability and coverage differ by country or region.

Samsung also promotes a streamlined claims process, including guidance intended to reduce paperwork and speed up repair authorization. Repairs are handled by Samsung-certified technicians using genuine parts, the company said.

Samsung Care+ coverage, service types, deductibles and promotional benefits vary by market, and terms and conditions apply. Registration may be required for certain promotional benefits.
