Zelenskyy Warns Over Russia’s Transnistria Moves

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said May 16 that Russia’s move to simplify access to citizenship for people from Moldova’s breakaway Transnistria region could support Moscow’s territorial claims and help recruit new soldiers. He said Ukraine would coordinate with Moldova on a joint assessment and response.
