Authorities are urging the public to come forward with any information that could assist in their ongoing investigations.

The sequence of events began around 4:05 AM when police responded to an alarm at a business on Bundock Street, Belgian Gardens. The culprits then fled the scene in the damaged Nissan and a silver Hyundai Tucson, which was also reported stolen.

Approximately an hour later, at 5:00 AM, emergency services were dispatched to Entertainment Drive in Townsville City following reports of the Nissan Navara ablaze. The vehicle was found fully engulfed in flames but was quickly extinguished by firefighters. Fortunately, there were no injuries reported in either the fire or the break-in.

The Nissan had been reported stolen from a residence in Kelso between the evening of May 10 and the early hours of May 11, while the Hyundai remains missing after being stolen from Deeragun.
