Police in Queensland have charged a 33-year-old man from Mitchelton after he allegedly made verbal threats at a place of worship in Bald Hills on May 10. The incident occurred around 10:46 am on Telegraph Road, where no physical injuries were reported, but the man fled before police arrived.

Following an investigation, the man has been charged with creating a public nuisance and disturbing a place of worship. He is scheduled to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court on May 22. Authorities confirmed that there is no ongoing threat to public safety.
