Gradient Labs is using OpenAI models to develop AI account managers for bank customers, according to an OpenAI blog post published April 1, 2026. The company uses GPT-4.1 as well as GPT-5.4 mini and nano to power AI agents designed to automate banking support workflows. OpenAI said the systems are built for low latency and high reliability.
