Detectives in Rochedale are currently investigating a brazen break-in that occurred early Monday morning at a residence on Skyview Avenue. According to Queensland Police Service, four intruders forcibly entered the home at approximately 5:15 AM, confronting the female resident with a knife.

During the unsettling encounter, the assailants demanded cash while searching the premises. The confrontation escalated when one of the intruders forcibly knocked a phone from the woman’s hand, injuring her finger. Despite their demands, the group left empty-handed, fleeing the scene in a white SUV.

Authorities are exploring connections between this incident and several other property crimes reported in the greater south Brisbane area on the same day. The white SUV seen at the Rochedale property is believed to be linked to these additional offences. Police are urging anyone with information, especially those with dashcam or CCTV footage of the area, to come forward to assist with the ongoing investigations.

For those with information, Queensland Police has provided several avenues to report. Information can be submitted anonymously via Crime Stoppers or through Policelink’s online suspicious activity form. The police emphasize the importance of community cooperation in solving these crimes and assure that all tips will be thoroughly investigated.
