Ukraine’s First Lady Olena Zelenska recently participated in the ‘Fostering the Future Together’ summit at the White House, hosted by U.S. First Lady Melania Trump. The event, aimed at discussing and advancing children’s education and technology, marked its second day with significant contributions from international representatives. During the summit, Zelenska highlighted Ukraine’s commitment to enhancing educational and technological opportunities for children, even amidst ongoing national defense efforts. “Our country fully shares the desire to give children every modern opportunity and the best education. Even while defending ourselves, we are creating technological and digital solutions for this, often unprecedented and unique,” Zelenska stated. In addition to her participation in the discussions, Zelenska met with Slovenia’s First Gentleman, Aleš Musar, and expressed gratitude for Slovenia’s support of Ukraine. The conversation also covered plans for the upcoming sixth Summit of First Ladies and Gentlemen in Kyiv, which aims to continue addressing global educational challenges and proposing innovative solutions. The outcomes of these discussions are expected to influence future international educational policies, which will be further elaborated on during the next United Nations meeting.
