Police are requesting public assistance following a serious traffic incident in Burpengary that involved multiple vehicles, including a truck and a motorcycle, on March 10, 2026. The collision resulted in severe injuries to a 63-year-old motorcyclist. The accident occurred around 1:55 pm on Hunt Road when a westbound white Kenworth truck attempted a right turn. Concurrently, a black Ducati Monster motorbike, traveling in the same direction, was struck by a white Ford Falcon. The Falcon was reported to have veered onto the wrong side of the road, leading to the collision with the motorbike. The motorcyclist, a resident of Morayfield, sustained critical injuries and was immediately transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital. Fortunately, no other individuals involved in the crash suffered serious injuries. The Queensland Police Service (QPS) has since launched a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash and is actively seeking witnesses.
