Authorities in Queensland are urgently calling for public assistance following a burglary incident in Bushland Beach. The event, which occurred on the night of March 9, involved the theft of a vehicle and other property crimes, causing non-life-threatening injuries to a local homeowner. According to the Queensland Police Service (QPS), two unidentified individuals entered a residence on Minstrel Court through an unlocked door around 10:50 pm. They reportedly stole keys to a grey Ford Ranger but were interrupted by the 29-year-old male homeowner. During the confrontation, the homeowner attempted to physically stop the offenders, leading to a brief struggle where he sustained injuries after falling from the moving vehicle. The victim was subsequently hospitalized at Townsville University Hospital. As of now, the stolen Ford Ranger has not been recovered. The police have continued their investigation and are appealing to the public for any relevant information or CCTV footage that may help in tracking down the culprits. The QPS has provided several avenues for the public to report suspicious activities or any information related to the crime, including Policelink and Crime Stoppers.
