In an alarming turn of events, two men have been charged in connection with a series of dangerous driving incidents that unfolded across North Brisbane on March 1st. These incidents led to several vehicles being struck, although thankfully no injuries have been reported.

Early on the morning of March 1st, between approximately 4:50 AM and 6:30 AM, a silver Holden Rodeo utility was reported to be driving hazardously through various suburbs in the Brisbane region. The vehicle was later found abandoned on the Gateway Motorway near the Wyampa Road overpass in Bald Hills. A 30-year-old man and a 38-year-old man, both from Mooloolaba, face multiple charges including five counts each of acts intended to cause grievous bodily harm, failure to comply with driver duties post-crash, dangerous operation of a vehicle, and driving under the influence of an intoxicating substance.

The accused are scheduled to appear before the Brisbane Magistrates Court today. Meanwhile, Queensland Police are urging anyone affected by the incidents or those who have relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward. The police hope to gather more information to aid in their ongoing investigation and ensure community safety.

This incident has prompted reminders for the public to remain vigilant and report any suspicious activities or information to Policelink or Crime Stoppers. Those with information can also fill out an online suspicious activity form accessible through the Queensland Police website. The community’s cooperation is crucial in preventing such dangerous situations and maintaining public safety.
