A fatal traffic incident in Moura has resulted in the death of a 70-year-old local man, authorities confirmed. The accident, involving a car and an electric mobility scooter, occurred on February 12 at the intersection of Marshall Street and Young Street. Police reports indicate that around 10:15 AM on the fateful day, a Holden Commodore collided with the scooter. The elderly rider was promptly transported to a hospital but succumbed to his injuries on February 21. The 62-year-old driver of the Holden, also from Moura, did not sustain injuries and is currently cooperating with the ongoing police investigation. The Forensic Crash Unit is actively investigating the circumstances that led to this tragic incident.
