A fatal traffic collision in Buccan claimed the life of a 51-year-old motorcyclist on the afternoon of February 9, 2026. Queensland Police’s Forensic Crash Unit is currently investigating the incident, which involved a collision between an orange Suzuki DI650a motorbike and a white Toyota Hilux on Waterford Tamborine Road.

According to preliminary reports from the police, the accident occurred at approximately 2:11 PM. The motorcyclist, a man from Logan Reserve, was pronounced dead at the scene. Meanwhile, the driver of the Toyota, a 41-year-old man from Deception Bay, did not sustain physical injuries.
