Witnesses Sought in Teen Assault

Detectives from the Petrie Child Protection and Investigation Unit are urgently seeking witnesses following the assault of a 16-year-old boy in Morayfield on February 2. The incident, which occurred around 2:45 PM on Oakey Flat Road near Ridgegarden Drive, involved two groups of people reportedly clashing and resulted in the teenager sustaining head injuries.

Initial reports indicate that several individuals partaking in the conflict were armed with various items. The injured teen was subsequently transported to Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital for medical attention. Authorities are now calling for anyone who might have dashcam or CCTV footage of the event to come forward.

Queensland Police have also expressed interest in locating a white Mitsubishi Triton dual cab observed in the vicinity at the time of the altercation.
