Police in Queensland have made significant progress in the case of multiple boats stolen earlier this month in Mooloolaba, with two vessels successfully recovered and one man charged. The first boat, a white 2003 Powercat 2600 Sports vessel, was found near 1770 in Round Creek Hill. It had been taken from a residence on Tarwarri Crescent. A 39-year-old man from Glenore Grove has been charged in connection with this theft and faces counts of unlawful use and possession of a motor vehicle with intent to deprive. He is expected to appear in Bundaberg Magistrates Court on March 2. In addition, an aluminium 349 Territory Strike tinnie, initially stolen from Carrothol Place, was located in the Mooloolah River near Karawatha Drive and Mountain Creek Road in Mountain Creek. Unfortunately, the motor of this boat has not yet been found, and no charges have been filed regarding this recovery. However, a grey inflatable vessel that was taken from Woomba Place is still missing. The Queensland Police are urging anyone with information about this ongoing case to come forward. The community is encouraged to report any suspicious activity or information directly to the Queensland police or anonymously through Crime Stoppers. Post navigation Mystery Death at K’gari Beach
