Detectives from the Hendra Criminal Investigation Branch have successfully apprehended two men following an armed robbery incident in Lutwyche, Queensland on January 9. The suspects, armed with a knife, are accused of forcibly entering a business on Lutwyche Road, where they threatened a female employee and stole cash along with her wallet. The incident, which occurred just before 7:30 AM, saw the suspects fleeing the scene on a blue motorcycle before the police could arrive. However, relentless efforts by the police led to the execution of a search warrant at a residence in Boondall by 6:40 PM, resulting in the detention of a 36-year-old man. Subsequently, a 43-year-old man was arrested at a location in Morayfield shortly after 10 PM. Both individuals now face multiple charges including armed robbery, deprivation of liberty, and entering premises with intent to commit an indictable offence. They are scheduled for a court appearance at the Brisbane Magistrates Court today.
