Detectives in Toowoomba have apprehended two men connected to a burglary involving the theft of a significant cash amount from a local business on December 22. The early morning crime was orchestrated by the perpetrators who forcefully entered the establishment on Hume Street and removed a safe filled with cash.

In a swift response, law enforcement conducted raids on December 24 at three locations across Toowoomba, Oakey, and Boronia Heights. A 28-year-old from Harlaxton and a 29-year-old from Boronia Heights face charges of entering premises to commit an indictable offense, with a court appearance scheduled for February 17 at the Toowoomba Magistrates Court.
