Zelenskyy Urges Strong EU Action

In a compelling address delivered on December 18, 2025, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy called on the European Union to decisively utilize frozen Russian assets to counteract Russian aggression and aid in the reconstruction of areas devastated by the conflict. Speaking to European leaders, Zelenskyy highlighted the resilience of Europe and Ukraine in the face of challenges posed by Russia, emphasizing the moral, fair, and legal grounds for the proposed use of these assets.

Zelenskyy praised the European solidarity that has thwarted Russian attempts to manipulate and divide the Union, particularly through political and energy strategies.
