Queensland police have charged seven individuals with a total of 30 offences following a series of raids in Tara and adjacent areas as part of Operation X-Ray Wisdom. The operations were conducted by detectives from the Dalby Criminal Investigation Branch and the South West Tactical Crime Squad. The raids, which involved executing four search warrants on December 17th, led to the discovery of significant quantities of methylamphetamine, GHB, and cannabis. Authorities also seized multiple mobile phones during the operations. The actions of December 17th mark a substantial effort by local law enforcement to combat the trafficking and distribution of dangerous drugs in the region. Among those charged was a 27-year-old Tara woman facing nine offences, including possession and supply of dangerous drugs, and a 34-year-old Caboolture man who faces six charges related to drug possession and supply. Both are scheduled to appear in Dalby Magistrates Court on March 17. Additionally, five other individuals were offered drug diversion for various possession-related charges. Detective Inspector Andrew Trenerry of the South West District praised the dedication of the investigative team. “The arrest of such serious offenders is a step towards making Tara and the surrounding community safer,” he stated. The police expect continued success in their ongoing efforts under Operation X-Ray Wisdom, targeting drug offenders and aiming to deter crime in the community. The Queensland Police has urged anyone with information to come forward and assist by contacting Policelink or reporting anonymously via Crime Stoppers. Investigations are ongoing as the community hopes for a sustained decrease in drug-related activities. Post navigation Europol Cracks Down on Cocaine Tragic Fatal Crash in Ipswich
