Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced a series of upcoming meetings with U.S. and European leaders, set to take place in Berlin, aimed at discussing Ukraine’s security and post-war recovery. The critical discussions are part of Ukraine’s ongoing efforts to secure peace and ensure national security against future aggressions.

President Zelenskyy outlined the agenda for these meetings, which includes briefings from Secretary Umerov and the Ukrainian negotiating team on prior contacts, and detailed discussions on security guarantees for Ukraine led by General Hnatov alongside defense and security officials. The talks will also involve strategies for the real recovery and development of Ukraine post-conflict.

Highlighting the importance of these discussions, Zelenskyy mentioned his scheduled meetings with envoys of President Trump and numerous European leaders to forge a political agreement aimed at ending the ongoing war. He emphasized the strong position of Ukraine in these negotiations, bolstered by the nation’s resilience on the front lines and in defense production. The President also addressed the recent Russian attacks, including a strike on a civilian vessel in the Black Sea, describing them as challenges to global food security and promising a coordinated response with international partners.

In addition to diplomatic efforts, the President reported on domestic challenges, including the response to recent strikes in the Odesa region and the accelerated efforts in repair and recovery. He also celebrated the return of five Ukrainians from Belarus, a significant achievement facilitated by Ukraine’s Defense Intelligence and the U.S.

As these crucial meetings approach, President Zelenskyy reaffirmed his commitment to a dignified peace and the ongoing strength of Ukraine, both internally and on the international stage.
