A tragic incident occurred early this morning at Logan Boat Ramp, Waterford, resulting in the death of a 34-year-old man from Tanah Merah. Queensland Police Service (QPS) has confirmed that the man died after becoming entrapped in mud and despite aggressive emergency responses, he succumbed to his injuries shortly after being transported to Logan Hospital. The incident unfolded around 12:30 AM when police and emergency services rushed to the scene following reports of a man stuck in the mud. After being freed and brought to shore, he received immediate medical treatment but unfortunately passed away a short time later at the hospital. QPS is actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and has issued a reference number QP2502272325 for the case.
