Reports indicate that several shots were fired into a residence on Teal Avenue around 3:24 AM, though fortunately, no injuries were reported. Authorities were alerted to another incident shortly after, at 3:37 AM, where a small hatchback was found ablaze on Helensvale Road at Hope Island. The police have set up two separate crime scenes and are exploring the possibility that these incidents may be connected. The Queensland Police Service is urging anyone who might have information, dashcam footage, or any other relevant details about the events to come forward.
