Police in Cairns, Queensland, are currently investigating a severe single-vehicle accident involving a stolen vehicle that occurred early in the morning on December 6. The incident resulted in serious injuries to two teenagers.

The crash happened shortly before 2:30 AM at the intersection of Lennon Street and McCormack Street in Manunda. A blue Isuzu ute, allegedly stolen the previous day from Trinity Park, hit a power pole. The two young occupants, both 16-year-old boys from Earlville and White Rock, were rushed to Cairns Hospital in serious but stable condition.

Authorities are now appealing to the public for any relevant information, CCTV footage, or dashcam videos that might help in their investigations. The Queensland Police Service urges anyone who can assist to contact them through their official channels or to report anonymously via Crime Stoppers. Investigations are ongoing, and the police have provided a reference number QP2502213140 for this case.
