Police are investigating a stabbing incident that occurred last night in the Bracken Ridge parklands, leaving a 17-year-old male with serious injuries.

The incident took place around 8:50 PM off Telegraph Road, where the teenager sustained puncture wounds to his chest area. He was promptly transported to the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital and is currently reported to be in a stable condition.

Detectives have not yet formally interviewed the victim as he continues to receive medical care, but the investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident is ongoing. Authorities are urging anyone who was in the area at the time or has dashcam footage that could aid the investigation to come forward.

The Queensland Police Service is requesting that any information related to the incident be reported to Policelink or anonymously through Crime Stoppers. The police have also provided a reference number, QP2502148304, to be quoted when providing information regarding the case.
