Police in Queensland are escalating their efforts to apprehend suspects involved in a break and enter crime in East Greenmount, followed by a subsequent vehicle theft and traffic incident in Clifton. This series of events began on the evening of October 31, 2025, when three males in a gold 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander reportedly stole a white 2012 Toyota Landcruiser from a residence on Moller Street. The stolen vehicle was later involved in a collision around 3 a.m. on November 1 with another vehicle, a brown 2021 Toyota Landcruiser, on Gillam Street in Clifton. Following the crash, the driver of the Mitsubishi Outlander fled the scene, leaving behind the occupants of the stolen Landcruiser, who were found at the crash site unharmed. Queensland Police have released images of the suspects and are urging anyone with information, especially those who might have seen the vehicles or were approached for transport or phone use around Clifton between 3 and 4 a.m. on November 1, to come forward. Police are particularly keen on gathering additional eyewitness accounts or any relevant details that could assist in the investigation.
