In a harrowing series of events early this morning in Meadowbrook, a 25-year-old woman from Edens Landing was charged with multiple counts of armed robbery following her alleged involvement in two separate incidents. The Logan police swiftly responded, culminating in her arrest and subsequent charges.

According to official reports, the accused reportedly approached two young women, aged 19 and 20, around 1:45 AM at a residential unit on University Drive. Armed with a sharp gardening tool, she is accused of threatening the 19-year-old and compelling both victims to walk across the street, where she allegedly forced one to summon a taxi. She then stole a mobile phone from the 20-year-old before fleeing the scene in the taxi.

Less than four hours later, around 5 AM, the same woman allegedly entered a coffee shop on Logan River Road in Bethania, where she threatened the staff with a knife. A quick-thinking patron managed to disarm her, after which she fled. Fortunately, no physical injuries were reported in either incident.

The police were quick to act, arresting the woman in proximity to the crime scenes. She now faces two counts of armed robbery and one count of possessing dangerous drugs, with her court appearance scheduled for later today at Beenleigh Magistrates Court. The Queensland Police urge anyone with information to come forward and assist by contacting Policelink or Crime Stoppers anonymously.
