Urgent Search for Hit-and-Run Driver

In a tragic incident on the afternoon of October 25, a woman was fatally struck by a vehicle in a hit-and-run accident at Trinity Park, Cairns. The Queensland Police Service (QPS) is urgently calling for witnesses and information from the public to assist in their investigation.

At approximately 4:03 PM, at the intersection of Reed Road and Roberts Drive, a white SUV collided with the woman and subsequently fled the scene without providing aid. The victim sustained critical injuries and was pronounced dead at the site of the accident.
