A fatal traffic collision in Woodridge, Logan, that occurred on the night of October 17, 2025, is currently under investigation by the Queensland Police Service’s Forensic Crash Unit. The accident involved a motorcycle and a sedan on Kingston Road around 10:15 PM.

The 17-year-old motorcycle rider from Slacks Creek tragically lost his life at the scene after his vehicle, heading south and attempting to turn right into Pilbi Street, collided with a northbound white Honda Accord. The occupants of the Honda Accord, including the driver and two passengers, were reported unharmed.

Queensland Police are continuing their inquiries into the specifics of the crash. This incident adds to the state’s road toll, prompting renewed calls from the Queensland Police Service for drivers to adhere to road safety measures. The authorities emphasize the importance of avoiding the ‘Fatal Five’ behaviors — speeding, drink and drug driving, not wearing seatbelts, fatigue, and distraction — which significantly contribute to traffic accidents.

Road safety is highlighted as a collective responsibility, with further information available on Queensland’s official police initiatives to educate and reduce serious accidents on the roads. The police urge the public to stay informed and vigilant to help decrease the frequency of such devastating incidents.
