Townsville detectives are urgently seeking public assistance to solve a robbery that occurred earlier this month in the Railway Estate area. The incident, which took place on October 5th around 4:30 PM, involved the assault and robbery of a 17-year-old boy at the intersection of Boundary Street and Saunders Street.

According to the Queensland Police Service (QPS), the teenager was riding his bike when he was approached and assaulted by an unidentified man, who then stole the bike. The bike was later found abandoned a short distance away. The suspect is described as a man of First Nations appearance with a moustache, last seen wearing a black shirt, shorts, and a cap.

The Townsville Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB) is appealing to anyone who might have witnessed the incident or has relevant CCTV or dashcam footage to come forward.
